The Algarve is one of the most sought-after destinations in Europe to for its amazing scenery along the southern coast of Portugal. Tivoli Carvoeiro Algarve Resort is inviting guests to discover the region’s exciting recipe from an astonishing new angle with the Seven Hanging Valleys Trail experience. Guests can take part in this scenic clifftop walk every Sunday, exploring a unique area where petite charming valleys are nestled within a series of seven pristine streams.
The trek starts on the doorstep of the Tivoli Carvoeiro Algarve Resort, a prestigious five-star resort just a 10-minute drive from the seafaring village of Carvoeiro, known for its unparalleled location semi-hidden on the clifftops above Vale Covo. Guests will hit the Seven Hanging Valleys Trail together with a local guide who will reveal some surprising secrets along the way.
Lasting two hours, this walk organised by the Tivoli Carvoeiro Algarve Resort will stop at iconic spots such as the Alfanzina lighthouse and the incredible beaches of Carvalho and Benagil.
At the end of the walk, participants will be invited to refresh with bottled mineral water and homemade energy bars, created by the Executive Chef of Tivoli Carvoeiro, Bruno Rocha, just for the experience. Relaxing treatments and special organic infusions will also be on hand at Tivoli Spa for immediate indulgence.
Once a month the General Manager of Tivoli Carvoeiro, Mário Custódio, will also take part with guests. “With this experience we are aiming to attract travellers who really want to experience the local food, culture and lifestyle of the destinations they visit. This is the perfect activity for those who want to get to know the true Algarve, including its people, history and culture,” said Mário Custódio.

Due to popular demand, the Tivoli Carvoeiro Algarve Resort is now also offering a longer walk along the Seven Hanging Valleys Trail lasting around three-and-a-half to four hours. This longer walk between Vale Centeanes Beach and Marinha Beach is 11.4 km long.
To enjoy this walk unfolding along almost continuous clifftops, the Tivoli Carvoeiro Algarve Resort provides guests with a transfer from the hotel to Vale Centeanes Beach, where the walk starts, and from Marinha Beach back to the hotel.
This exclusive Tivoli experience also includes a gourmet picnic at one of the Algarve’s most enchanting lighthouses. Prepared by the Executive Chef of Tivoli Carvoeiro, Bruno Rocha, guests can look forward to a menu comprised of fresh and invigorating local produce:
